Chapter Calendar
The April meeting speakers were Bryan P. Holland from the city of North Port and Bill Pancake with Universal Engineering Sciences. Bryan is a Plans Examiner and serves as the representative on Standards Technical Panels 676 and 1241 for Underwriters Laboratories and Bill serves on the NFPA Code Making Panel #5 Articles 200, 250, 280, & 285.Their topic was "The 2008 N.E.C: How will it affect you?" The meeting was sponsored by Bob Gaitens and Keith Fosbenner from Cutler Hammer (Eaton) who displayed the panel board E_Z trim; and Kevin Bouton from Levitron who displayed tamper resistant devices.
The June meeting speakers were Tori Gansen, C.C.C.I.A. Licensing Committee Chair, and Frank Cassidy, City of Cape Coral Code Compliance Division Manager who spoke on "How to stop Unlicensed Contractors." The meeting was sponsored by Scott Robbins with Metra Associates, who displayed Tork Time clock products, and Justin from Ideal Industries. To see pictures, click here.
